Townhall Meeting: Omala NYCN Coordinator Commends Kogi Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Ministry's Staff
The Coordinator of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Omala Local Government Chapter, Comrade Ocheje Moses, has described the ongoing youth town hall meeting embarked upon by the Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Mr Monday Aridaojo Anyebe as timely and impactful.
In a statement made available to journalists in Lokoja, Comr Ocheje noted that the program has provided a platform for youths from various local governments to appraise and commend the developmental efforts of governor Ahmed Usman Ododo since his assumption of office.
He added that the program has also given youth leaders in the state the opportunity to express areas where government intervention is needed.
Comrade Moses commended the Commissioner for conceiving the initiative and praised the staff of the Ministry for their support in ensuring the program's success.
According to him, the commissioner has carried the youths of the state along in all government programs and empowered them to key into government pilicies as it concerns their welfare.
While hailing the present administration in the state for the recognition giving to the youths, he pledged supports of Omala youths to the ministry and its future activities.
