2027: Kogi Accountant General Rallies Behind Tinubu and Ododo’s Re-election Bid
The Accountant General of Kogi State, Dr Habibat Oyiza Tijjani Onumoko has thrown her weight behind the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, describing their leadership as a model of progress and stability for both the nation and the state.
Speaking at a recent endorsement rally in Muhammadu Buhari Civic Center, Lokoja, organized by the Kogi State Government, the Accountant General reiterated her support for the continuity of the Tinubu/Ododo administration, emphasizing that their transformative policies and people-centered governance deserve another term.
She noted that under President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, Nigeria is witnessing gradual economic recovery and reforms aimed at strengthening key sectors, while Governor Ododo’s administration continues to build on the legacy of good governance, security, education and youth empowerment in Kogi State.
The Accountant General called on women, youth, and all progressive-minded citizens of Kogi State to unite in support of the re-election bid, stressing that sustaining the current leadership would ensure continued development and prosperity for the people.
The Accountant-General also hailed former Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, describing him as a visionary leader whose legacy continues to inspire progress and unity across the state.
The event, which attracted political leaders including National Assembly Members, women groups, and youth organizations from across the state, serving and former State government officials, indicated a strong show of solidarity to the success of both President Tinubu and Governor Ododo in their second-term pursuits.
