OMALA, KOGI STATE — The Coordinator of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Omala Chapter, Comrade Ocheje Moses, has commended Honourable Umar Farook, Member representing Omala Constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly, for his back-to-school initiative and continued commitment to the educational development and welfare of constituents.
Comrade Ocheje described the initiative as a commendable intervention that demonstrates Honourable Farook's concern for the educational advancement of children and the well-being of families across Omala Local Government Area.
He noted that initiatives aimed at supporting students and easing the financial burden on parents are essential to promoting access to education, reducing school absenteeism, and building a brighter future for the younger generation.
The Omala NYCN Coordinator also applauded Honourable Farook's legislative activities at the Kogi State House of Assembly, noting that effective representation, people-oriented legislation, and constructive engagement are critical to advancing the interests of Omala Constituency.

In a further show of support, Comrade Ocheje Moses declared the readiness of the Omala Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria to mobilize youths in support of Honourable Umar Farook's re-election bid in 2027.
He maintained that the youth constituency recognizes the importance of leadership, representation, and development, adding that the council remains committed to encouraging youth participation in democratic processes.
He emphasized that young people have an important role to play in shaping the political and developmental future of Omala Local Government Area through constructive engagement, peaceful participation, and responsible civic action.
