EMAN Organizes Annual Prayers, Public Lecture, Offers Free Medical Services

The El-Birru Muslim Association of Nigeria (EMAN) has held its annual special prayers for Ebiraland, Kogi State, and Nigeria as part of its commitment to promoting peace, unity, and development through faith-based activities.

The prayers, which followed a period of fasting observed by members of the association, were aimed at seeking divine intervention for the progress and growth of the nation.

The special prayer session took place at the Ebira Central Mosque, Okene, attracting a large turnout of Islamic clerics, traditional rulers, and faithful from across the region.

As part of the week-long activities, a Public Lecture was also held at the Central Mosque, Ogori, where Prof. Adam Ahmad Abere, Provost of the National Defence College, Abuja, delivered a lecture titled “Faith and Rural Development: Towards a Society Free of Insecurity.”
Speaking at the event, the National Amir of EMAN, Sheikh Hussein Abdallah Rahman, appreciated all participants and contributors to the success of the program. He urged residents to take advantage of the free medical outreach organized by the association as part of its annual humanitarian service.
The Amir also sought support from well-to-do individuals in the society to enable the association complete its ongoing projects across Kogi State and beyond.
