APC Chieftain, Congratulates New National Chairman, Yilwatda

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi Central Senatorial District, Chief Ibrahim Musa, popularly known as Chief OC, has congratulated the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, on his emergence as the new National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress.

Professor Yilwatda was officially ratified by the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) at one of its high-level meeting held in Abuja, marking a new chapter in the leadership of the ruling party, APC.

In a statement made available to journalists in Lokoja, Chief OC described Professor Yilwatda’s emergence as “a reaffirmation of the party’s commitment to progress, discipline, and inclusive leadership.”

He expressed confidence in the new chairman’s capacity to steer the APC with vision, integrity, and a renewed sense of unity as the party prepares for the 2027 general elections.

Chief OC further called on party members across the country to give the new chairman their maximum cooperation and support in order to strengthen internal democracy and ensure continued success at all levels of governance.

He urged Professor Yilwatda to prioritize reconciliation and grassroots mobilization, noting that these are key to sustaining the APC’s dominance and delivering on the promises of good governance to Nigerians.

Chief OC also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the NEC for their confidence in Yilwatda’s leadership, describing the appointment as timely and strategic for the party’s growth and stability.
