2027: FAWWASS Reiterates Strong Backing for Governor Ododo and President Tinubu
The socio-political group, FairWin Women Advancement Association (FAWWASS) has once again shown support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. The group says Governor Ododo is doing a good job by following and supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda in Kogi State.
The President of the group, Hon. Bilikisu Aliyu, speaking at the group's weekly meeting in GRA, Okene today, said, "Governor Ododo’s leadership has brought progress in the state". She mentioned improvements in security, empowerment programs, and opportunities for women and youths to participate in leadership and governance.
She also praised President Tinubu for his national policies aimed at rebuilding the economy. She said Governor Ododo is supporting these policies by running a transparent and people-focused government in Kogi State.
According to Hon. Bilikisu, Governor Ododo is continuing the good work started by the last administration of His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello, and explained that governor Ododo is aligning well with President Tinubu’s development plans.
The group added that the Governor’s efforts in improving healthcare delivery, developing human resources, building infrastructure, and engaging communities are already making a positive impact.
Hon. Bilikisu noted that with Dr. Habibat Oyiza Tijjani Onumoko steering FAWWASS, the socio-political group will sustain its efforts in rallying women from all 21 LGAs in Kogi State to back government initiatives and promote peace and development.
She called on the people of the state to remain supportive and patient with ongoing reforms, expressing hope that Nigeria and Kogi State will experience more progress under the leadership of President Tinubu and Governor Usman Ododo.
