Ogori/Magongo APC LG Candidate, Osiako, Felicitates Muslims on Eid-el-Kabir
The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming local government election in Ogori/Magongo LGA, Hon. Sunday Ezekiel Osiako, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
In a statement personally signed on Tuesday, Hon. Osiako congratulated the people of Ogori/Magongo, particularly the Muslim faithful, and prayed for a peaceful, joyful, and successful Sallah celebration.
He described Eid-el-Kabir as a sacred festival that symbolizes total submission to the will of Allah through faith, sacrifice, and obedience.
According to him, the celebration serves as a reminder of the enduring virtues of sacrifice, humility, love, and devotion as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.).
Hon. Osiako urged Muslims to continue embracing the values of peace, tolerance, obedience, and selflessness, while strengthening their commitment to the service of God and humanity.
He also appealed to the youths in the area to shun all forms of unlawful acts capable of disrupting the relative peace currently enjoyed in the local government area and Kogi State at large.
The APC candidate further appreciated the muslim community and other residents for their continued support, goodwill, and cooperation, assuring them of his commitment to inclusive leadership, grassroots development, and people-oriented governance.
Hon. Osiako prayed for God’s blessings, mercy, and abundant rewards upon all muslim faithful as they celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.
