The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the forthcoming Ogori/Magongo Local Government election, Hon. Sunday Ezekiel Osiako, has paid a courtesy visit to two prominent political leaders in Magongo, Hon. E. D. Olufade (former local government Chairman) and Rt. Hon. Joseph Asobiojo (former Council Leader), as part of his ongoing consultations and efforts to strengthen unity within the party.
During the separate visits, the APC flag bearer expressed appreciation for the longstanding contributions of the two respected leaders to the political development of the area. Hon. Osiako also sought their blessings, guidance, and support as he prepares for the upcoming local government election.
Both leaders warmly received the APC candidate and commended his humility, political maturity, and commitment to the progress of Ogori/Magongo Local Government. The meetings also brought back fond memories of shared history, as both Hon. Olufade and Rt. Hon. Asobiojo once served as teachers at St. Peter Primary School, Ogori, where Hon. Osiako’s father, Chief E. S. Osiako Idu, served as the Headmaster. This historic connection, according to the leaders, further strengthens the bond between their families and the community.
