DG Kogi Broadcasting Corporation Commends Governor Ododo at Radio Kogi Otite Family Get-Together

The Director-General of the Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation, Princess Nana Hauwa Yusuf, has commended the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his firm commitment to the growth and development of the state.

Princess Nana Hauwa, who was represented by the Director of Programmes, Comrade Habibat Umar Ibrahim, gave the commendation at the Radio Kogi Otite Family Get-Together held in Okeneba, Okene local government area.

She noted that Governor Ododo has invested significantly in the information and communication sector, especially in repositioning the Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation to meet modern broadcasting standards.

 She added that the present administration has shown strong support for the media as a key partner in governance.

The DG also praised the Commissioner for Information and Communication, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo for his dedication to the growth of the radio.

She applauded the management and staff of Radio Kogi Otite for their dedication and commitment to duty, urging them to continue to uphold professionalism and contribute meaningfully to the governor’s development agenda.

In his remarks, the Patron of the Association Alh. Musa Shaibu appreciated Governor Ododo for creating an enabling environment for broadcasters in the state and encouraged Radio Kogi staff to remain united as one family.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Otite family, Hon. Abdulazeez Amezigi congratulated the Otite family members for the milestone achieved so far and promised even greater successes in 2026.

The event was attended by several dignitaries including Daudu Ohi Anyene of Ebiraland, Hajia Juwa Omadivi, the Ohi of Okene and Ajaokuta; the Ohi of Okengwe-Ehi; Taru Ochacha, former Station Officer; Adams Raji; among others.

The event featured goodwill messages, presentations, and other activities aimed at strengthening unity among the Radio Kogi Otite family.
