The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Okene Local Government Area Chairmanship, Hon. Bello Tijani, paid a royal visit to the Ohi of Okengwe and Okene respectively.

During the visit, the two monarchs praised Hon. Tijani as a man of peace and foresight who has leveraged his extensive experience to promote unity and development within his community. They noted his gentlemanly conduct and his vision for the progress of Okene and its citizens.
Hon. Tijani sought the traditional rulers’ blessings and counsel, emphasizing that his success would bring joy to the entire Okene Local Government while any failure would be felt by all its residents. He reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive leadership, expressing openness to learning, re‑learning, and collaboration with all stakeholders.
