The Federal University Lokoja Alumni Association (FULAA), under the stewardship of its President, Dr. (Comr.) Felix Omachoko Uloko, wishes to convey its sincere felicitations to Professor Gbenga Ibileye, a distinguished scholar of Linguistics, on his recent appointment as the fourth Vice‑Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja.
Professor Ibileye’s selection, endorsed by the University Governing Council chaired by Professor Zubair Tajo Abdallah, culminated a meticulous and transparent process in which eleven eminent academics were evaluated on the sole basis of merit. Prior to this appointment, Professor Ibileye has served as Patron of FULAA since 2019, a role conferred upon him by resolution of the Association’s Board of Trustees.
FULAA expresses its confidence that, under Professor Ibileye’s visionary leadership, the university will continue its trajectory toward excellence, achieving new heights of academic distinction and institutional prestige. The Association respectfully invokes divine guidance and strength for the Vice‑Chancellor as he assumes this pivotal responsibility.
