
FAWWASS Welcomes New Women into Its Fold
The Fairwin Women Advancement Association (FAWWASS) on Sunday welcomed a new set of women into its growing forum, marking another landmark in its mission to empower and uplift women across communities in Kogi State.
In their goodwill messages, the new members expressed joy and optimism about joining the association, noting that they were inspired by the positive impact FAWWASS has made in promoting women’s welfare, entrepreneurship, and social development.
They commended the Kogi State Accountant-General, Dr. Habibat Oyiza Tijjani Onumoko, for her firm commitment to advancing women’s voices and creating opportunities for growth and self-reliance. The new members also acknowledged her efforts in bringing governance closer to the people at the grassroots level.
In her remarks, the President of FAWWASS, Hon. Bilikisu Aliyu, warmly welcomed the new members and encouraged them to actively participate in the association’s programs. She emphasized that unity and collaboration remain key to achieving the organization’s objectives.
Hon. Aliyu further assured that FAWWASS will continue to provide a strong platform where women can learn, share ideas, and contribute meaningfully to the state's growth and development.
