The Accountant-General of Kogi State, Dr. Habibat Oyiza Tijjani Onumoko, has extended the ongoing thank-you tour to Okaito, Uboro/Omavi/Uhuodo Communities in Okehi Local Government Area, where she conveyed Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s message of gratitude to the people.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Habibat emphasized that the visit was initiated by the Governor himself.
She stressed that it was not politically motivated, but rather a genuine effort to appreciate the people’s support and to seek candid feedback on the performance of the present administration.
The community warmly received the Accountant-General and commended Governor Ododo for his transformational leadership and achievements in infrastructure, road construction, healthcare, education, agriculture, scholarship, and women empowerment.
In her remarks, Dr. Habibat expressed appreciation for the community’s loyalty to the APC and assured them that Governor Ododo remains fully committed to addressing their needs. She described the people of Okaito, Uboro/Omavi/Uhuodo as reliable partners in progress, whose continued support strengthens the government’s resolve to deliver.
The Chief Host, Kogi State Local Government Auditor, Alhaji Siyaka Yakubu (aka Fancy), represented by Hon. Abdullahi Nasiru, reaffirmed the community’s unshakable support for the APC-led government.
Community leaders further praised Dr. Habibat for acting as a bridge between government and the grassroots, ensuring that their voices are heard and their interests protected.
The visit, they noted, stands as an indication that Governor Ododo’s inclusive leadership and his administration’s recognition of the people’s invaluable contributions toward building a stronger Kogi State.
