
The Kogi State Accountant-General, Dr. Habibat Oyiza Tijjani Onumoko, has commiserated with Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo over the death of his father, Alh. Ahmed Momohsani Ododo, who passed on at the age of 83.
In her condolence message, Dr. Habibat described the late patriarch as a devoted family man, community leader, and devout Muslim who lived an exemplary and fulfilled life.
She noted that the elderly and wise counsel of Alh. Ahmed Momohsanni would be sorely missed not only by his family but the entire people of Kogi State.
According to her, Alh. Ahmed Momohsani’s legacies of discipline, integrity, and selfless service to humanity would continue to endure in the lives of those he left behind.
The Accountant General also noted that Alh. Ahmed Momohsani was not only a father to his immediate family, but also a source of guidance and inspiration to his community and beyond.
She urged Governor Ododo and the entire Ododo family to take solace in the fact that their father lived a life worthy of emulation and left behind children who are making meaningful contributions to society.
Dr. Habibat prayed for the peaceful repose of Alh. Ahmed Momohsani's soul and for God to grant the Governor, his family, and the entire community the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
She further assured the Governor of the solidarity and prayers of the entire workforce of Kogi State, adding that the thoughts of the government and people of the state are with him in this trying period
