ROTARACTOR MUSA ALFA RESUMES OFFICE AS KOGI STATE REP FOR ROTARACT CLUBS IN KOGI STATEk

Rotaractor Musa Alfa, a proud son of Idah Local Government Area, has officially assumed office as the Kogi State Representative for Rotaract Clubs for the 2026–2027 Rotary Year, themed "Create Lasting Impact."

In his new capacity, Musa Alfa will provide leadership, guidance, and coordination for Rotaract Clubs across Kogi State. He will work closely with club leaders and members to strengthen service, fellowship, and leadership while advancing Rotary's vision of creating sustainable and meaningful impact in communities.

Speaking after assuming office, Rotaractor Musa Alfa expressed profound appreciation to past district and state leaders, club presidents, Rotarians, Rotaractors, and the entire Rotary family for their trust, support, and sacrifices over the years. He emphasized that the task ahead requires unity and collaboration, noting that "one tree cannot make a forest." 

He therefore appealed for the continued support, cooperation, and commitment of all members as they work together to create lasting impact across Kogi State.

"Rotaract is the youth leadership arm of Rotary International, bringing together young people from communities and tertiary institutions around the world. The organization is dedicated to developing young leaders through service, fellowship, and professional growth. Its core areas of focus include humanitarian service, community development, peacebuilding, basic education and literacy, cultural preservation, and youth empowerment," he stated.

The State Representative also called on government officials, political office holders, philanthropists, corporate organizations, development partners, business owners, and other well-meaning individuals to partner with Rotaract Clubs across Kogi State. According to him, strategic partnerships are essential to implementing impactful community projects that improve lives and contribute to sustainable development throughout the state.

Rotaractor Musa Alfa reaffirmed his commitment to working with all stakeholders to ensure that the 2026–2027 Rotary Year truly reflects its theme, "Create Lasting Impact," through impactful service projects, stronger partnerships, and initiatives that positively transform communities across Kogi State.
