
NYCN Kogi Central Youth Dialogue Committee Meets APC Candidates in Okehi, Adavi, Seeks Support Ahead of August 4 Event
As part of preparations for the forthcoming National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Kogi Central Youth Dialogue 2026, scheduled to hold on August 4, 2026, the Organising Committee has intensified consultations with key political stakeholders across the senatorial district.
The committee paid a courtesy visit to the APC Chairmanship Candidate for Okehi Local Government Area, Hon. Ismaila Abdulmalik, at Ohuepe, Okehi LGA, where members briefed him on the objectives of the Kogi Central Youth Dialogue and sought his endorsement and support for the event.
The committee also visited the APC House of Assembly Candidate for Adavi East Constituency, Hon. Mohammed Aliyu, during which the blueprint and vision of the youth dialogue were formally presented.
Speaking during the separate visits, the APC candidates commended the initiative, describing it as a timely platform for engaging young people on issues of leadership, unity, peace, and sustainable development in Kogi Central.
They pledged their full support for the success of the Kogi Central Youth Dialogue and encouraged the organisers to remain committed to promoting constructive youth engagement and community development across the district.
