
Ogori/Magongo Poll: Osiako Rallies Stakeholders, Gains Wider Support
As the local government election draws near in Ogori/Magongo LGA, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Sunday Ezekiel Osiako, has intensified consultations with critical stakeholders across the area.
In continuation of his engagement drive, Hon. Osiako paid visits to prominent leaders in the community, including Engr. Gbemi Omole, the immediate past National President of the Ogori Descendants Union, and Hon. Chief Vincent Aiyedun, former Director General of Kogi State Government House, Administration.
During the visits, Engr. Omole, who was visibly excited, charged Hon. Osiako to work with all segments of the community. He emphasized the need for inclusiveness and urged the APC candidate to focus on initiatives that would benefit both Ogori and Magongo communities, as well as attract meaningful development to the area.
On his part, Hon. Chief Aiyedun advised Hon. Osiako to draw from the legacy and wisdom of his late father for guidance. According to him, the late Chief E.S. Osiako Idu was a distinguished figure who left behind enduring legacies worthy of emulation.
Both leaders expressed confidence in Hon. Osiako’s candidacy and pledged their full support for his aspiration under the APC.
