Eid-el-Fitr: Kogi AG Felicitates Muslims, Calls for Peace, Unity

Kogi State Accountant-General, Dr. Habibat Oyiza Tijjani Onumoko, has extended warm felicitations to Muslims across Kogi State on the occasion of the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

In a statement, Dr. Habibat urged citizens to remain prayerful and united, emphasizing the need for collective efforts toward national growth and development.

“It is incumbent upon us collectively to offer prayers for our dear Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, and the leadership of our nation at every level, as they strive to enhance our national fortunes and uplift the standard of living for all Nigerians,” she said.

She also extended her congratulations to the former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, for successfully observing the holy month of Ramadan marked by devotion, peace, and spirituality, culminating in the joyous celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.

The Accountant-General prayed that Almighty Allah accepts the supplications of all Muslim faithful.

“As we bask in the blessings of this sacred occasion, we pray that Allah (SWT) accepts our acts of worship and continues to safeguard our beloved Kogi State. Let us remain committed to promoting a peaceful and cohesive society that upholds the principles of liberty, human dignity, and prosperity for all,” she added.
