The Chairman of the Governing Council of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Barr. Sani Momoh Shuaibu, has congratulated Dr. Salihu Sanusi Avidime on his appointment as the eighth substantive Rector of the Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja.
Barr. Shuaibu described the appointment as well-deserved, expressing confidence in Dr. Avidime’s capacity to provide visionary leadership, strengthen academic standards, and reposition the Polytechnic for greater excellence.
He also commended the immediate past Rector, Professor Salisu Usman Ogobo, for his dedicated service and contributions to the growth and development of the Polytechnic during his tenure.
He noted that Prof. Ogobo’s leadership laid a solid foundation that will continue to benefit the institution.
The Governing Council Chairman urged the new Rector to build on the achievements of his predecessor while promoting innovation, discipline, and academic excellence within the Polytechnic community.
