APC Chairmanship Candidate Sunday Osiako Pays Courtesy Visit to Governor Ododo, Pledges Loyalty and Grassroots Development
The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming 2026 local government election in Ogori/Magongo LGA, Hon. Sunday Osiako, on Monday paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, at his residence in Okene.
During the visit, Hon. Osiako commended the governor for his purposeful leadership and the support extended to grassroots politicians across the state.
He hailed Governor Ododo for his developmental strides, especially in the areas of infrastructure, security, and youth empowerment, which he noted have continued to positively impact the lives of the people.
He further assured the governor of his total loyalty and pledged to consolidate on the achievements of the present administration at the local government level if elected.
According to Hon. Osiako, his aspiration is driven by a strong desire to promote unity, improve welfare at the grassroots, and ensure effective service delivery in his local government area.
In his response, Governor Ododo welcomed Hon. Osiako and wished him success in his political journey. He charged him to run an issue-based campaign, embrace peace, and work closely with stakeholders and party members to ensure victory for the APC in the forthcoming election.
