NYCN Ogori/Magongo Congratulates its Org. Secretary, Babatunde, over Appointment as SSA, Hails Governor Ododo for Youth-Inclusive Governance
The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ogori/Magongo Local Government Chapter, has congratulated its Organizing Secretary, Comrade Atere Babatunde Samuel on his recent appointment as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Grassroot Sensitization to the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
In a statement signed by the Coordinator, Comr Tayo Onimisi Omodaiye, the Council described Comr Babatunde's appointment as a well-deserved recognition of competence, loyalty, and dedication to service.
The Council noted that the appointment further proves Governor Ododo’s commitment to youth inclusion and empowerment in governance, stressing that giving young, capable individuals opportunities to serve is a positive step toward building a more vibrant and progressive Kogi State.
“Comr. Babatunde's appointment as SSA is a pointer to his hard work and the confidence the Governor has in the youth of our dear state,” the statement read.
While congratulating Comr. Babatunde, the Council also commended Governor Ododo for his foresight in recognizing young leaders who have contributed meaningfully to community and state development.
The Coordinator further praised the political leaders in Ogori/Magongo LGA, acknowledging their continuous support towards youth engagements and initiatives.
The Council charged Comr Babatunde to justify the trust reposed in him by delivering diligently on his new assignment and continuing to serve as a role model to other young people in the state.
“NYCN Ogori/Magongo remains committed to supporting the administration’s policies aimed at promoting peace, development, and youth engagement across the state,” the statement concluded.
