The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Youth Sensitization, Hon. Abdallah Abbas Musa has commended the traditional and political leaders of Okaito for their warm reception and support during the visit of the Kogi State Accountant-General, Dr. Habibat Oyiza Tijjani Onumoko, to the community.
Speaking after the engagement, the SSA lauded the Okaito leaders for their show of unity and for hosting the Accountant-General in a manner that reflects the hospitality and collective spirit of the people.
He noted that the Accountant-General’s visit was not only a demonstration of appreciation to the community but also an avenue to deepen government–citizen engagement.
He further described Dr. Habibat Oyiza Tijjani Onumoko as a grassroots mobilizer and bridge-builder whose efforts continue to strengthen the relationship between the people and the government of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
“On behalf of the youths, I want to sincerely appreciate the Accountant-General for finding time to visit and interact with our people. Her humility and sense of duty are commendable, and this has given the youths a renewed sense of belonging in governance,” the SSA stated.
The SSA also reassured the people of the Governor’s commitment to inclusive development, stressing that youth sensitization will remain a priority in driving unity and participation across communities.
Leaders and stakeholders in Okaito equally expressed their gratitude to the Accountant-General for her visit, describing it as a morale booster for the people and a reinforcement of their support for the current administration.
