The Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, His Royal Majesty, Alhaji (Dr.) Ahmed Tijani Muhammad Anaje, has formally turbaned the newly appointed Odeyi, Odovidi, and Orewa of Hausa, Fulani Communities in Ebiraland, urging them to use their new position to promote unity, peace, and mutual respect among all ethnic groups residing in Ebiraland.
The colorful ceremony, which held at the Ohinoyi’s Palace in Okene, attracted traditional rulers, community leaders, religious clerics, government officials, and people from diverse cultural backgrounds.

In his remarks, the Ohinoyi stressed that leadership comes with responsibility and charged the new traditional leaders to serve as a bridge between their people and other communities in Ebiraland. 
The Ohinoyi noted that peace and unity remain the foundation for development, maintaining that the turbaning is not only a recognition of leadership but also a call to service.
He urged the new leader to carry everyone along, promote dialogue, and continue the tradition of peaceful coexistence that has long existed between the Ebira people and the Hausa-Fulani communities.

Responding, the National President of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore Fulani, Dr. Bello Bodejo expressed gratitude to the Ohinoyi for the confidence reposed in them and reiterated that the new leaders will discharge their duties with fairness, humility, and dedication. He assured that he would work closely with stakeholders to sustain harmony and contribute to the progress of Ebiraland.

The ceremony was marked with prayers, cultural displays, and goodwill messages from dignitaries who described the event as a step toward strengthening unity and collaboration among the diverse people of Kogi State.
