Omala LG, NULGE Applaud Gov. Ododo, Urge Continued Support for Workers and FarmersThe management of Omala Local Government Council and the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Omala chapter, have commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his prompt payment of staff salaries, consistent Leave Bonus to workers, distribution of free rice palliatives, and provision of free fertilizer to farmers.
Speaking during the flag-off of the fertilizer distribution in Omala, the Director of Local Government (DLG), Mrs. Edogbo Jummai, on behalf of the Council Chairman, expressed appreciation to His Excellency for easing the challenges faced by farmers and workers across the council.
While commending the governor for his vision to ensure food security in Kogi State, he charged the youths of the area to be productive and support the government of the day.
Also speaking, the NULGE Chairman, Comrade Yusuf Muktar, on behalf of the entire staff, lauded the humane disposition of the Governor, describing him as “the Chief Servant of Kogi State.”
He expressed gratitude to the governor for the release of the 2022 promotion letters to local government employees and moved for his endorsement for a second term in 2027, citing the Governor’s pro-worker and pro-people policies.
According to Comr. Yusuf, the returning of governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to Lugard House is non negotiable.
