Kogi State Vice Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Kogi Central Zone, Comr. Mamood Avavome Muhammed, has congratulated the newly appointed Secretary of the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC), Alh. Ohinoyi Muhammed, describing the appointment as well-deserved.
In his reaction to the development, Comr. Mamood noted that the appointment reflects a strategic step towards strengthening democratic institutions and credible electoral processes in the state.
He described the new Secretary as a man of integrity and experience, whose dedication to public service will enhance the performance of the Commission.
The Council also commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his visionary leadership and for placing competent individuals in key positions.
While praying for the KOSIEC Secretary and the new Chairman of the Commission, Mamood reiterated that the youths of Kogi central will continue to support the policies of the present administration.
"NYCN looks forward to working with the new KOSIEC leadership to promote peaceful and youth-inclusive elections across Kogi State," Mamood added.
