
Igbo Community in Kogi Central Hails Kogi Accountant-General, Pledges Support for Governor Ododo
The Igbo Community residing in Kogi Central has commended the Kogi State Accountant-General, Dr. Habibat Oyiza Onumoko, for her exceptional leadership and inclusive approach to governance.
The commendation came during a courtesy visit to the Accountant-General, where the Igbo leaders expressed deep appreciation for the peaceful coexistence and sense of belonging they enjoy in Ebiraland.
They described Dr. Habibat as a bridge-builder and praised her for her continued outreach and engagements with various communities across the state.
Speaking during the visit, Dr. Onumoko reaffirmed the commitment of the present administration to unity and inclusiveness, emphasizing that “Ebiraland remains an accommodating and peaceful environment where every tribe can thrive and contribute meaningfully to development.”
The Igbo community, in return, pledged their unalloyed support for the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
They assured the Accountant-General that they would continue to work in harmony with the host communities and contribute to the peace, unity, and progress of Kogi State.
They also thanked the state government for the opportunities being extended to non-indigenes and called for continued partnerships and engagement.
