
In a remarkable demonstration of respect for traditional leadership and cultural heritage, the Accountant General of Kogi State, Chief Dr. Habibat Oyiza Tijjani, led her entourage on a royal courtesy visit to the palace of the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Dr. Mohammed Tijani Anaje, in Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The purpose of the visit was to honor His Royal Majesty for his outstanding leadership, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to the peace, unity, and development of Ebiraland and Kogi State at large. As a revered father figure and custodian of culture, the Ohinoyi has remained a symbol of dignity, guidance, and stability in the land.
Upon arrival, Chief Dr. Habibat Oyiza Tijjani and her entourage were received with warmth, grace, and royal hospitality. The atmosphere was filled with joy, cultural pride, and mutual admiration as the Accountant General expressed her deep appreciation for the role traditional rulers play in fostering unity and grassroots development.
She also emphasized the critical role traditional institutions continue to play in supporting the vision of the current administration under His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, especially in promoting inclusive governance, peace, and the preservation of cultural values.
The visit provided an opportunity for reflection on collective achievements and a reaffirmation of commitment to working together for the good of Kogi State and its people.
