Enesi emerges as the State Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Kogi State Chapter.

Comrade Abdulrahman Abdulmumuni Enesi has been elected as the new Chairman of Kogi State Chapter of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) following a keenly contested delegates election held on Saturday in Lokoja.

The election, which took place at the Youth House in Lokoja, saw Enesi clinch a landslide victory with one hundred and two votes to defeat his closest rival, Ismail Mustapha who polled fifteen votes, while Jegede Onotu Abdulazeez and Daniel Adavize Sunday garnered four and one votes respectively.

The peaceful conduct of the election was praised by observers and stakeholders, who commended the delegates for demonstrating maturity and unity in the interest of youth development in the state.

Enesi, in his victory speech, thanked the delegates for the confidence reposed in him and promised to run an inclusive administration that will harness the potential of young people across the state.

The newly elected chairman called on his fellow contestants and all stakeholders to join hands with him in advancing the vision of the NYCN in Kogi State, noting that the task ahead requires collective efforts.

Those elected are; Abdulrahman Abdulmumini, Chairman; Olorunmbe Stephen Juwon, Deputy Chairman; Abdullahi Ismaila, Secretary General; Jimoh Saidat Ozuhu, Assistant Secretary General; Shaibu Jibril, Vice Chairman East; Muhammed Avavome Mamood, Vice Chairman Central; Adeyemi Emmanuel Gbenga, Vice Chairman West; Suleiman Isa Yakubu, Financial Secretary and Owoniyi Olasunkanmi Jethro, Public Relations Officer.

Others are; Idris Abdulhamid, Assistant Public Relation Officer; Abraham Ibukun Eunice, Women Leader; Inyanda Ojochegbe Favour, Program Officer; Siyaka James Jimoh, Social Secretary; Samari Opisa, Director of Entrepreneur Central; Obanibi Michael, Director of Entrepreneur West; Muhammed Jamiu Omeiza, Organizing Secretary Central; Sani Idris Gomina, Organizing Secretary West; Musa ThankGod, Organizing Secretary East and Ibrahim Muhammed Muazu, Director of Agric West.

Omede Onuche Sunday was elected Director of Sport East; Olorunjuwon Benjamin Fortune Director of Sport West and Amoka Abdulmumin Umar as Director of Sport Central.
