The Executive Chairman of Okene Local Government, Honourable Hon Enesi Ahmed Nuhu, has paid a heartfelt visit to the family of the victims involved in the tragic accident that occurred last Friday in Agassa, Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The unfortunate incident claimed the life of one of the victims, sending shockwaves across the community.
Another victim is currently receiving medical treatment and is reported to be responding well to care.
During the visit, Honourable Ahmed Nuhu Enesi extended his deepest condolences to the bereaved family and expressed solidarity with them in this difficult time.
He also assured them of the Council’s support, emphasizing that the loss of any life within the Local Government is deeply felt.
In a gesture of compassion and community support, the Chairman pledged that the Local Government under his leadership will take full responsibility for the medical expenses of the surviving victim currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
He further assured the people of Okene that his administration remains committed to responding promptly to emergencies and providing support wherever needed.
The Chairman was accompanied by members of the Council and community leaders during the visit.
