The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Kogi State Chapter has extended warm felicitations the Executive governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo and the entire Muslims in the state and across the country on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.
In a statement issued by the Chairman of the Council Comr Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale, the NYCN called on Muslim faithful to uphold the values of sacrifice, obedience, and love for humanity, which the festival symbolizes.
He urged youths to use the opportunity of the celebration to reflect on their roles in promoting peace, unity, and development in Kogi State and Nigeria at large.
While charging the youths to eschew tendencies that could disturb the growth, development, unity and stability of the state and country, the Council prayed for continued peace and prosperity in the nation and wished all Muslims a joyous and hitch-free Sallah celebration.
