The National Leadership of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) has felicitated the government and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the occasion of the 2025 Democracy Day.
In a statement by the National Chairman, Alhaji Mogaji Ibrahim Olaniyan, it stated,
"Democracy thrived where leadership, institutions, and citizens work together to promote good governance, accountability, and the rule of law."
"The PCRC family both in Nigeria and in the diaspora commends President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's progressive ideals, which aim to strengthen Nigeria's democracy and promote the welfare of its citizens. We acknowledge his administration's efforts to address the country's challenges and improve the lives of Nigerians."
"As we celebrate Democracy Day, we call on all Nigerians to continue working together to strengthen our democracy and promote peace, security, and stability in our great nation. We urge our leaders to prioritize the needs of the people and ensure that our democratic institutions serve the interests of all Nigerians."
"The PCRC reaffirms its commitment to supporting democracy and promoting community-police relations in Nigeria. We will continue to work with the government, security agencies, especially the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) and other stakeholders to build a safer and more prosperous society for all Nigerians."
"On this Democracy Day, we wish all Nigerians a joyous celebration and a renewed commitment to building a better future for our country. May our democracy continue to thrive, and may our leaders prioritize the welfare and security of our citizens."
