According to a statement by the Controller of Corrections, FCT Command, Olatubosun Ajibogun, the surgeries were conducted following standard clinical protocols to enhance the health and well-being of the inmates.
Ajibogun revealed that the medical outreach, carried out with utmost professionalism and adherence to clinical standards, demonstrates the commitment of the Controller General of Corrections to ensure inmates receive quality healthcare services in line with global best practices and human rights protocols.
He expressed gratitude to the medical team for their professionalism and dedication, stating that the surgeries not only relieved the inmates’ pain and discomfort but also significantly improved their quality of life during their time in custody.
