BEING A SPEECH DELIVERED BY THE OHI OF OKENGWE EHI ON BEHALF OF THE OHINOYI OF EBIRALAND AT MAINBRAIN IZE INTERNATIONAL CONCEPT CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATION, MAY 27TH, 2025.
Your Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, the Executive Governor Of Kogi State, His Royal Majesty, Dr. Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje, The Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Government functionaries, all other Royal fathers, ladies and gentlemen, Good day to you all.
It is with great joy and honor that I stand before you today to extends heartfelt greetings to all the children as they celebrate Childrens' Day.
On behalf of His Royal Majesty, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, His Royal Majesty, Dr Ahmed Tijani Mohammed Anaje, I HRH Mallam Abdulkareem Atta Yusuf, The OHI of Okengwe - Ehi, declared this special occasion as the celebration of hope, dreams, and rights of our children.
May 27th of every year has been set aside to recognize the importance of children and their key roles in our society.
Our children are not just the leaders of tomorrow, they are also the treasures of today and their laughter, energy, creativity, and dreams are the heartbeat of our Nation.
As we celebrate, let us remember that every child deserves love, care, education, and protection.
Sadly, many children around the country today are still facing challenges such as poverty, lack of education, abuse, and neglect.
Today is also a reminder to all adults, parents, teachers, leaders, and communities of our dear responsibility to ensure that every Nigerian child grows up safe, healthy, and educated.
To all our teachers and the children here and across Nigeria, believe in yourselves. Work hard in school, stay curious, and never stop dreaming of actualizing the best.
The future of Nigeria is in your hands, and with dedication and courage, you will build a stronger and brighter Nation.
Remember, this special occasion is a time to honor the joy, innocence, and potential of our little ones. May your dreams and aspirations shine brightly, and may you continue to grow in knowledge, kindness, and creativity.
