Kogi Central Youth Dialogue 2026: Committee Receives Ohi Okene's Endorsement

The Organising Committee of the Kogi Central Youth Dialogue 2026 has received the endorsement and royal blessings of His Royal Highness Alh. Isah Mamman Okatahi, the Ohi of Okene, ahead of the forthcoming youth dialogue scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 4th August 2026, at the Ohinoyi's Palace, Okene.
During a courtesy visit to the revered traditional ruler, the committee briefed the palace on the objectives of the dialogue, which is aimed at bringing together youths, traditional institutions, government officials, professionals, civil society organisations, and other critical stakeholders to discuss practical solutions to issues affecting the development of Kogi Central Senatorial District.
In his remarks, the Ohi of Okene commended the initiative, describing it as timely and necessary. He urged the organisers to ensure the dialogue remains peaceful, inclusive, and development-oriented, while encouraging youths across the district to embrace unity, discipline, and constructive engagement.
The Organising Committee appreciated the royal father for his warm reception, fatherly advice, and endorsement, assuring him that the dialogue would uphold the values of respect, inclusiveness, and a shared commitment to the progress of the district.
The committee reaffirmed its commitment to delivering a successful and impactful event that will amplify the voices of young people and generate actionable recommendations for the advancement of Kogi Central.
