
Traditional Rulers in Magongo Endorse, Offer Royal Blessings to APC Chairmanship Candidate, Osiako
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship Candidate for the Ogori/Magongo Local Government election, Hon. Sunday Ezekiel Osiako, has paid a courtesy visit to the traditional rulers in Magongo, where he received royal blessings and the endorsement of the traditional council for his aspiration to lead the local government area.
During the visit, the members of the Magongo Traditional Council offered special prayers, seeking divine guidance, wisdom, and strength for Hon. Osiako as he prepares to assume leadership responsibilities.
The Council led by His Royal Highness, Otaru Egegele Leo, commended Hon. Osiako for his commitment to grassroots development.
They expressed confidence in his vision for the local government and urged him to remain steadfast in his quest to deliver quality governance to the people of the area.
Hon. Osiako, who was visibly delighted by the warm reception, expressed profound gratitude for the royal blessings and endorsement, describing them as a source of encouragement for him. He reaffirmed his commitment to implementing people-oriented projects, promoting peace, and ensuring sustainable development across all communities in Ogori/Magongo Local Government Area if elected.
He called on residents to set aside their differences and work collectively for the progress, peace, and prosperity of Ogori/Magongo, stressing that unity remains key to achieving meaningful development.
Hon. Osiako further emphasized that the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is committed to delivering impactful projects, strengthening security, and improving the welfare of citizens across Kogi State, assuring the traditional rulers and residents of continued collaboration with the state government.
Shortly after the meeting, Hon. Osiako paid a visit to one of his supporters, Mr. Alabi David Jnr, who is currently recuperating from an illness. He wished him a speedy recovery and presented him with a token of support.
