The Accountant-General of Kogi State, Chief Dr. Habibat Oyiza Tijjani Onumoko, has been honoured with the revered traditional title of Iye Ebule Ankpa, meaning Mother of All Women.
Speaking during the coronation ceremony in the palace of Ejeh Ankpa, the Ejeh of Ankpa, Dr Abubakar Sadiq Ahmed Yakubu II, described the highly respected title as a symbol of honour, motherhood, leadership, and deep commitment to the wellbeing of the people.
The royal father who noted the title was well deserved, hailed Dr Habibat Onumoko contribution's to public service and dedication to uplifting communities.
In her acceptance message, the Accountant-General expressed heartfelt appreciation to Commissioners, Directors, and Treasurers of Local Governments for their support and cooperation. She also thanked the traditional rulers and dignitaries who accompanied and honoured her during the coronation ceremony, pledging to continue serving with humility and dedication.
Some of the dignitaries were the Ejeh of Dekina, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Dr. Usman Obaje, the Elulu of Mopa, HRM Oba Dr. Muyiwa Ibeun, RUWASSA boss, Hon. Ibrahim Ahovi and Engr. Alhaji Friday Idachaba.
