I am overwhelmed with gratitude as I stand before you today, humbled and honored to have emerged victorious in the chairmanship primary election of Okene Local Government for the All Progressive Congress. I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency,Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the executive Governor of Kogi State, The former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and all other former State and National leaders, The DG Government House, Dr Shuaibu Umar Oricha, The Accountant General of Kogi State, Chief Habibat Oyiza Tijani and all the Government functionaries, the APC state party chairman,Hon Abdullahi Bello and all the party Executives and stalwarts and of course the good people of Okene Local Government for this incredible opportunity to serve.
To my fellow contestants, who stepped down for me out of love, I salute your courage, resilience, and dedication to our beloved community. Your participation in this election has made our democratic process richer, and I am honored to have run alongside such talented individuals. I look forward to working with you, and I am committed to building a government that is inclusive and responsive to the needs of all Okene citizens.
To my supporters, your tireless efforts, prayers, and unwavering commitment to this campaign have been the driving force behind this victory. I promise to work tirelessly to justify your trust and confidence in me. My administration will prioritize education, community building, Health and poverty alleviation in line with the Local Government statutory and I invite all Okene citizens to join me on this journey.
Let me assure you, I am committed to being a leader who listens, who serves, and who empowers. Together, we can build a brighter future for Okene, a future that is prosperous, peaceful, and full of opportunities for all. Thank you, and may God bless Okene Local Government!
