Kogi State Accountant General Visits Otutu Ward in Okene LGA, Appreciates Grassroots Support for Governor Ododo
In continuation of her community engagement and appreciation tour, the Accountant General of Kogi State, Chief Dr. Habibat Oyiza Tijjani, paid a warm and heartfelt thank-you visit to Otutu Ward in Okene Local Government Area.
The visit was aimed at acknowledging the overwhelming support of the people of Otutu for the administration of the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, especially during and after the 2023 governorship elections.
Speaking during the visit, Chief Dr. Habibat Oyiza Tijjani expressed her sincere gratitude to the ward leaders, youths, women, and elders for their steadfastness, unity, and continued belief in the current administration.
She assured them that their loyalty and support have not gone unnoticed, and that Governor Ododo remains committed to delivering meaningful development and lasting progress across every part of the state.
The community responded with enthusiasm and appreciation, offering prayers for the Governor Ododo and the Accountant General.
Many described the visit as a sign of humility, accessibility, and a reflection of leadership that values the people.
The Accountant General reiterated her office’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and ensuring that government resources are properly managed to improve the lives of all Kogites.

The visit to Otutu Ward is one of many stops in Dr. Habibat Oyiza Tijjani’s ongoing efforts to strengthen government community relationships and ensure that no ward is left behind in the Ododo led administration’s people first transformation agenda.
