Relegating the North-East in the game of Power Sharing is a Grave Political Miscalculation

Relegating the North-East in the game of power sharing is a grave political miscalculation

Politics and politicking have always revolved around interests, but what becomes of such interests when key stakeholders within a party begin to dig pitfalls that could frustrate a smooth path to electoral victory?

It is crucial for APC’s critical stakeholders and loyal followers to tread carefully and make thoughtful decisions to avoid creating cracks that could be exploited by a desperate opposition.

Politics is not just about popularity, it is a game of precision, calculation, and well-timed permutations. It's therefore pertinent that party decision-makers should weigh the political consequences of every step taken.

There’s wisdom in allowing your opponents to trip over their own missteps, but that principle should not apply within your own house. The opposition is watching closely, and ready to take advantage of any internal discord or strategic error within the ruling party.

History shows that disrupting a winning team mid-tournament rarely ends well.

The leadership of the APC must therefore exercise sound judgment, responsibility, and foresight in all decisions taken on behalf of the party and its teeming supporters.

Every geopolitical zone deserves recognition and respect. Ignoring this truth risks igniting internal conflicts that could weaken the very fabric of the part, fabric strong enough today to attract even opposition defectors.

If we truly want Nigerians to continue placing their trust in us, we must show unity, fairness, and leadership at every turn.
