Kogi State Specialist Hospital Boss Felicitates Muslims on Eid-el-Kabir, Commends Gov. Ododo for Landmark Achievements

The Acting Chief Medical Director of Kogi State Specialist Hospital, Lokoja, Dr. Oluseyi Bamidele Folagbade, has extended warm greetings to Muslims across the State, particularly the Muslim Ummah within the hospital community, as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.

Dr. Folagbade highlighted the deep spiritual significance of the festival, recalling the unwavering faith and obedience of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), who was willing to sacrifice his son Ismail in submission to God's command. He noted that God, recognizing Ibrahim's sincere devotion, replaced the intended sacrifice with a ram; an act that Muslims around the globe continue to commemorate.

He urged the Muslim Ummah and staff of the hospital to emulate this virtue of absolute faith and obedience to God, stressing that such values are crucial for healing, peace, and unity in today’s world.
The Acting CMD also used the opportunity to salute the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir. He commended the Governor for his transformative leadership and landmark achievements, particularly the regular and prompt payment of workers’ salaries, the recent resumption of leave bonuses for civil servants, and the clearance of debts inherited from previous administrations.

Dr. Folagbade prayed for God’s continued guidance and protection for Governor Ododo and his cabinet, noting that under the current administration, Kogi State is firmly on the path to becoming one of the most livable and progressive states in Nigeria.

He further reaffirmed the commitment of the management and staff of Kogi State Specialist Hospital, Lokoja, to delivering quality and affordable healthcare services in alignment with the vision and healthcare agenda of the Governor Ododo-led administration.
